With the mining boom and Coal Seam Gas pipelines in full swing, Aaromat Fencing & Balustrade have demonstrated on numerous occasions it’s capabilities in regard to servicing remote areas, the latest two projects were for the Coal Seam Gas industry in Queensland and Western Australia.
Our brief was to measure, then manufacture, package and deliver aluminium balustrade and screens to the Surat Basin projects in Queensland’s gas fields, another project brief was to manufacture and deliver aluminium screens to Port Headland in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Once the product is on site we will then fly in our team of installers to complete the project by installing the screens.
It is not an easy task when you consider the size of the project and its remote destination but it is a job our staff embraced with plenty of enthusiasm.
We pride ourselves on our ability to manufacture a high quality product and be able to package it for delivery anywhere in the world, our group of companies have shipped our products to many of the Pacific Islands, all states of Australia and even as far afield as Saudi Arabia, we take the attitude that anything is possible. It’s a good feeling seeing your product safely packaged and loaded in a container for delivery to a far off and remote destination.
Aaromat partner Wayne May drove out to the Surat Basin with our production supervisor to measure the balustrade on a very complex ramp, there was no room for error because of the remote location and the time frame the head contractor had given us, it was a 14 hour round trip but as usual, Wayne and Dean nailed it the first time.
